SS1057A50 1.1 Senator Betzold moved to amend the Kelley amendment to S.F. No. 1057 1.2 as follows: 1.3 Page 2, after line 19, insert: 1.4 "Subd. 6. [CITY PAYMENT.] The executive director shall 1.5 notify the chief administrative officer of the city of St. Louis 1.6 Park of the full actuarial reserves, if any, for the survivor 1.7 benefit determined under subdivision 5, and the city must pay to 1.8 the public employees police and fire fund 100 percent of this 1.9 amount, payable in a lump sum within 30 days of the 1.10 notification. If the city fails to pay this amount, the 1.11 executive director shall notify the commissioner of finance of 1.12 this nonpayment, and the necessary amount outstanding shall be 1.13 withheld from subsequent aid to the city and transmitted to the 1.14 executive director for deposit in the public employees police 1.15 and fire fund. 1.16 Subd. 7. [BENEFIT TERMINATION.] The benefit payable under 1.17 this section terminates upon the remarriage of the eligible 1.18 person under subdivision 1, paragraph (b)." 1.19 The motion prevailed. #did not prevail.
