1.3    "Sec. 4. APPROPRIATIONS; TEACHERS RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION
1.4AGENCY COSTS.
1.5(a) $29,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $57,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
1.6the general fund to the Department of Education for increased employer pension contributions
1.7to the Teachers Retirement Association. The amount appropriated in fiscal year 2019 is
1.8added to the agency budget base for fiscal years 2020 and later.
1.9(b) $10,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $19,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
1.10the general fund to the Minnesota State Academies for increased employer pension
1.11contributions to the Teachers Retirement Association. The amount appropriated in fiscal
1.12year 2019 is added to the agency budget base for fiscal years 2020 and later.
1.13(c) $8,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $15,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
1.14general fund to the Perpich Center for the Arts for increased employer pension contributions
1.15to the Teachers Retirement Association. The amount appropriated in fiscal year 2019 is
1.16added to the agency budget base for fiscal years 2020 and later."
