  1.3     Page 58, after line 35, insert: 

  1.4     "Sec. 7.  UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA STRIKE PROVISION.

  1.5     Notwithstanding the payment deadline specified in Minnesota

  1.6  Statutes, section 356.195, subdivision 2, paragraph (b), a

  1.7  University of Minnesota employee covered by the Minnesota State

  1.8  Retirement System who was on strike on or after October 21, 2003

  1.9  and before the effective date of this section, is authorized to

  1.10 make a payment under that paragraph on or before one year after

  1.11 the effective date of this section." 

  1.12    Page 59, line 1, delete "6" and insert "7"
